We’re sorry to see you go but understand that sometimes situations change and you need to move on. If you are planning to leave, we simply ask that you complete a copy of the Notice To Vacate** form and deliver it to our address.

  1. When and where do I pay my rent?
    We require that your rent be paid on or before the first day of the month at the Bevan Enterprises office at 58 Spring Lane or the Quality Inn and Suites at 150 Euston Street. The Quality Inn and Suites is open 24 hours a day.
  2. How much is the security deposit for apartment rentals?
    We require a minimum of half a months rent on some apartments to the equivalent of a full months rent on others. Security deposit amounts vary based on the property.
  3. Are pets allowed?
    We’re happy to offer a selection of properties to our pet-loving tenants. Please check with our office staff to determine which properties are pet friendly.
  4. Is a lease required to rent a furnished apartment?
    Yes, we require a minimum 6-month lease on furnished properties. We’re happy to negotiate shorter terms based on your situation.
  5. What if I cannot complete the term of my lease?
    The lease is a legally binding document; therefore, you are liable to pay the rent until the unit rents to suitable new tenants.
  6. How much notice is required to vacate my apartment?
    If you’re looking to vacate your apartment, we require that you provide written notice on or before the first of the month you plan to vacate. Tenants and all possessions must vacate on or before the last day of the month. All keys assigned at move-in must be returned by the last day of the month.
  7. When do I get my security deposit back?
    Your security deposit will be in the mail within 10 days of you returning your keys.
  8. Do you do a walk through with me as I leave the apartment?
    No. Unfortunately the end of the month is a very busy time for us so walk-throughs just aren’t feasible. However, if you are able to return the keys a few days early, we will make every effort possible to provide a walk-through.
  9. How much do you charge to clean the fridge and stove if I have not cleaned it well enough?
    There is a $75 total charge for cleaning the fridge and stove.
  10. How much do your cleaners cost per hour if extra cleaning is needed?
    The hourly rate for cleaners is $25.00.
  11. How much does it cost if 2 men and a truck are required to remove garbage left behind?
    The hourly rate is $75.00.
  12. What do I do with my garbage?
    Waste must be sorted according to Island Waste Watch regulations. For more information, please visit: www.iwmc.pe.ca. Non-compliance with the sorting regulations can lead to fines and/or eviction.
